Dr Iziaq Kunle Salako has commiserated with the lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, over the gruesome murder of one of his aides, Niyi Sanni, who was killed by yet to be known assailants in the early hours of yesterday Saturday 5th August, 2023.

In a release personally signed by Dr Salako, who served as Senator Yayi’s Director of Campaign Organisation during this year’s election, described late Niyi Sanni as a dutiful, clear-headed and highly trusted aide of Senator Adeola. and

He further expressed that, “It beats my imagination on how a harmless and generally acknowledged calm, cool-headed Niyi, who can’t hurt a fly could be gruesomely murdered in his prime”.

Dr Salako, who received the shocking news shortly after the conclusion of his ministerial nomination screening at the National Assembly reiterated,  “Even if the young man’s vehicle and other items on him needed to be taken away by the devil’s agents, why did they still take his life”.

He condoled with and felt so sorry for Senator Yayi because he, alongside Niyi and other aides, worked at a very close level with the Ogun West Senator and he can attest to how valuable the young man was to their principal and to lose a diligent and highly trusted aide as Niyi is no small mean a heavy loss.

Salako concluded with prayers for the Senator, the wife and family of the deceased and others that Almighty Allah will grant them the fortitude to bear the heavy loss.
