Mrs. Oluwakemi Ogunyemi, a nurse and two-term member of the Lagos State Health Service Commission, was sworn in on Friday as Special Adviser to the Governor on Health. She took the oath at a ceremony held at the State House, Alausa.

Sanwo-Olu congratulated Ogunyemi on her deserved appointment, reminding her that the expectations that warranted her appointment were high, given her wealth of experience and knowledge in the medical profession, leadership and governance.

The Governor expressed his confidence that the newly appointed Special Adviser would live up to her billing and the trust reposed in her in the discharge of her responsibilities.

He said, “I welcome Mrs. Oluwakemi Ogunyemi to the State Executive Council, having been confirmed by the House of Assembly. She will be serving as Special Adviser on Health. The expectations are high, given the wealth of experience she is bringing to the table.
