Sanwo-Olu To Grace United African Methodist Church’s 80th Annual Conference

The 80th Annual Conference of the United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Worldwide comes up in Igbogbo, Lagos State from Sunday, January 30 to Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

The theme of this year’s Conference is: “LORD’S ORDAINED PEACE” – Isaiah 26: 12.

According to the General Secretary (Administration), Bro. Ayo Bada, about 500 delegates from churches under the Mission in Nigeria and Republic of Benin are expected to attend this year’s Conference.

He said the secretariat of the organization would move to Igbogbo on Thursday, January 27 while other officers are expected to arrive on Saturday, January 29.

The Special Guest of Honour at the Conference will be the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Highlights of the Conference will be the election of a new Lay President, consecration of new Bishops for the Organisation as well as commissioning and elevation of other ministers on Sunday, January 30.

The Conference proper will hold on Monday, January 31 while, the Women Fellowship will close the Conference on Tuesday, February 1 with its meeting.
