Sanwo-Olu Urges Women To Emulate Ms.Anyiam-Osigwe’s Exemplary Life

Speaking on the deceased, Sanwo-Olu said that the Late Ms. Peace Marie Ogechi Anyiam-Osigwe was part of the professionals in the entertainment industry that anchored the training of young people and ensured that they had the right skills to position them for a successful career in the industry.
The Governor noted that most of the problems being faced in the country start from the kind of parenting given to the children, asking “How do we raise our children, How do we contribute to the development of our country”.

He said that the entertainment industry has contributed to the development of the country, adding that across the country, entertainment has proven to have contributed morally and socially to the development of the country.
He stated that it is for this reason that the State Government has worked together with the industry to train over 800 residents from Alimosho and Agege.
Earlier in his sermon, the Officiating Priest, Rt. Reverend Dr. John K. Aniagwu said that the deceased was a Christian who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.
He said, “Peace was someone who lived and died believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, therefore, I have every reason to believe that she is a beneficiary of the promise Jesus made to Martha. It is certain that she will rise again”.
