SATUC World Cup: Nigeria Beat Bulgaria 1-0 To Qualify For Final

The winning streak of John Utaka Foundation Football team continued Tuesday at the SATUC World Cup 5 Aside Under 16 tournament when they defeated hard fighting Bulgaria 1-0 in a semi final clash that stretched into extra time before the goal eventually came through Hussaini Arafat Usman.

It was a high tension game from the blast of the whistle as Bulgaria, the hosts of the tournament took the game to the enterprising Nigerian kids , that played with strong resilient, defending and at the at the same attacking and the goalkeeper proved a hard nut to crack leading into the extra time.

Hussaini, who scored four goals against Cameroon was the goal hero again as he scored in the first half of the extra time to end the hopes of the host team.

It is going to be a West African affair in the final after Liberia defeated Morocco 5-1 in the other semi final encounter. Interestingly, both Nigeria and Liberia got their visas the same day at the Bulgarian Embassy and departed the shores of the country together the following day to Sofia and now the two countries will compete in the final to know the best team worthy to be crowned champions of SATUC WORLD CUP 5 Aside Under 16 football tournament .
