Security During Yuletide: ONC Commends Rivers CP & Ahoada Area Commander

After critical assessment of the security situation in Ahoada East during the festival period, the leadership of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, after an emergency meeting held in Ahoada town, unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Police performance compared with some years back.
The group stated that despite the fact that the major kingpin of the cult group responsible for the killing of the late DPO has not been apprehended, the Orashi National Congress noted that after careful evaluation of the situation that some silent progress has been made.
In a statement signed by Most Snr Comrade Amb Emeni Ibe, the Orashi National Congress called on the public to continue to give the Police the needed support to enable them render better service.
“The Orashi National Congress, ONC, wish to commend the able Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Disu, for providing effective policing throughout the state and Orashi region in particular.”
“We commend the Ahoada Area Commander and the DPO for discharging their duties in line with the vision of the leadership of the Nigerian Police. We also commend the cooperation of other sister security agencies in the area.”
“We, at the Orashi National Congress, appeal for support for the Orashi Peace and Security Summit coming up by February 2024. We are restate our commitment to the peace and development of the Orashi region.”
