Senator Adeola Dedicates Tribunal Victory To Constituents

Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Lagos West), the Chairman of Senate Committee on Finance, has dedicated his victory at the National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly Tribunal sitting in Ikeja to his numerous constituents that voted for him in the last Presidential and National Assembly Election.
The Senator’s victory was challenged at the Tribunal by Mr. Gbadebo Rhode-Vivour, the PDP senatorial candidate for Lagos West and PDP, on the basis that Senator Adeola was not validly elected and his election should be upturned.
In a statement released shortly after the 3-man Tribunal led by Justice Kunaza Hamidu delivered its judgement earlier today, Senator Adeola said the judgement is yet another validation of the mandate of the people of Lagos West for him to continue his representation in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
“I want to thank all my constituents for believing in me and dedicate this victory at the tribunal to them wholly. Their faith in me has been further validated by the judiciary, who rightly shielded away from upturning the Democratic wishes of the people of Lagos West on spurious petition” the Senator stated.
Senator Adeola promised to continue to effectively represents the people of Lagos West adding that in a few weeks time he will undertake his first Next Level Town Hall Meeting and Empowerment of constituents as is his usual practise.
