Senator Adeola Expresses Shock At OPC Leader’s Demise

The Chairman of Senate Committee on Local Content and senator representing APC Lagos West, Senator Solomon Adeola, has express shock and sadness at the demise of Odua People’s Congress, OPC leader, Dr. Fredrick Fasheun, at the age of 80.
In a statement signed by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator Adeola, commiserating with members of the immediate family, the Yoruba Race and Nigeria, the Senator said that Dr. Fasheun contributed immensely to human and democratic rights in Nigeria as well as the healthcare development of the nation adding that his wealth of experience and patriotic contribution to the society will be sorely missed at this point in Nigerian history.
“My senatorial district has lost a prominent Nigerian who stood for truth and fought the rights of his people in Nigerian federation. His role in the fight to enthrone democracy against military rule in Nigeria remains indelible in history” Adeola stated.
Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the elder statesman and fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
