The Chairman of Senate Committee on Local Contents and Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, on Wednesday 26th December, 2016, hosted End of The Year party for his constituents, stakeholders and teeming supporters.

The annual event which took place at 15, Ayo Oluyemi Crescent Orelope Egbeda, Lagos, was part of the distinguished lawmaker’s ways of connecting closely with his constituents and appreciating them for their support.

Senator Adeola had earlier called on all Christians in particular and Nigerians in general to use the occasion of the Christmas celebration to renew their faith and pray for a peaceful and rancour free 2019 General Elections.

In a message to felicitate with his constituents and Nigerians, Senator Adeola (Yayi) said that Christmas symbolizes the celebration of the birth of a new dawn for the salvation of souls for all humanity especially for the Christians and should therefore not be used for only merry-making.

The chairman of Senate Committee on Local Contents added that since this year’s celebration came weeks ahead of the nation’s crucial election, it should be taken as another opportunity for fervent prayers for a new dawn and prosperous future for individuals and the Nigerian nation.

In a statement by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator, Adeola acknowledged that Nigerians in general are going through a difficult gestation period for sustained economic growth, but said it gladdens the heart that the difficult time is not compounded by the usual fuel scarcity as witnessed in time past during Yuletide.

Adeola urged all Nigerians to be patient and look forward to a better future, saying with an abiding faith in Jesus Christ all of the country’s challenges would be a thing of the past as it moves to next level of development.
