Senator Adeola Mourns Former Yewa South LG Chairman

The Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations and distinguished legislator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola, has expressed great sadness at the demise of Hon. Lateef Adebayo Salami, the immediate past Chairman of Yewa South LGA.

 

The Ex-LG boss passed on after a brief illness yesterday.

 

The Senator described Hon. Salami as a gentleman, who contributed to the development of governance at the grassroots level in Yewa South, adding he will be missed by not only the people of Yewa South but the entire Ogun State.

 

The chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations stated Hon. Salami, a long time political loyalist, served the people and government conscientiously in his lifetime adding that as chairman of Yewa South LGA, he delivered for the people to the best of his ability.

 

The Senator prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and the fortitude for the immediate family to bear the irreparable loss.
