Senator Adeola Solomon Commissions Road

In a bid to bring succour to the people in terms of social infrastructure and development, the senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Hon. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola has commissioned a 600 meters tarred road in Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area, Ijanikin.

The road, which accessories comprise a two way drainage system and solar energy street light, is a confirmation of his promises to the people among other constituency projects outlined in his agenda.

Representing the lawmaker at the occasion, the LGEA Education Executive Secretary, Hon. Kolawole Abiola Esrom, mentioned that the project is in line with the mandate given to him by the people; adding that the residents in that community will enjoy a secured environment and an opportunity to access other inner roads in the LCDA.

In his words, the need to push forward a position in the Senate should not be only by words alone but by actions, indicating that what is essential in the lives of the people is giving them the necessary support and convenience.

“When completed projects are commissioned and open for use, it simply shows that the Government is working and the people are enjoying the benefits of good governance, the construction of this road will certainly boost economic activities and equally improve security of lives and properties”, he said.

While appreciating the Senator for his gesture, the Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori LCDA, Prince Musibau Adekunle Asafa posited that he has shown great concern and love for his constituents through his numerous stand and presentations at the oval chamber, the construction of Ijanikin international market road is a priority project that he has embarked on as partners in progress.

“While waiting for what you intend to do in Ketu , I really want to appreciate your initiative and I believe you have more to do in many respects, especially giving Nigeria the best status among the comity of  nations and Lagos her best dues”, he stipulated.

He however, appealed to the users to maintain the road and the facilities so that the benefits thereof will last longer than expected.

Anita Senayan, His Royal Majesty, Oba Momodu Afolabi Asafa, Onijanikin of Ijanikin Kingdom, Vice Chairman of Oto-Awori LCDA, Hon. Abdulkareem Abiodun Azeez, Iya Oja of Ijanikin modern market, Chief Mrs Taiwo Adisa, CDC Chairman, Mr Bodunrin Mendez, representative of the market Chairman is Ifeanyi Eze, political leaders, chiefs and important dignitaries.
