Senator Adeola Urges Prayer For Security At Sallah

As Muslims the world over celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir tomorrow, the lawmaker representing Lagos West Senatorial District and Chairman of Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Solomon Adeola, has enjoined all Muslim faithful in his Senatorial District and Nigerians to pray for security across the nation as well as the peaceful conduct of the 2023 General Election some months away in our march to deepen democracy in Nigeria.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message to felicitate with adherents of the Islamic faith, Senator Adeola said a strict adherence to the teachings of Islam in the areas of sacrifice, love, brotherliness, piousness, peaceful coexistence will
greatly assist in security and safety stressing that mare than anything else, the nation needs security and peace to implement development initiatives as well as continue with ongoing development efforts.
“As we approach another election season let us all shun the debilitating approach of seeing politics as a “do or die affair” but rather let us see it as the quest for service for the development of the society with electoral outcomes taken in the spirit of sportsmanship” he stated.
The Senator said he will continue to represent his constituents by ensuring that they continue to enjoy dividends of democracy from the government as well as from his programmes in the area of education, provision of social amenities like roads, boreholes and transformers among others constituency empowerment programmes aimed at complementing efforts of government at all levels.
