The Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences have expressed profound gratitude to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Ogun APC Gubernatorial Candidate, for donating a brand new ambulance to the institution.

The donation, according to the Polytechnic, came at a critical time and will strengthen emergency medical response on campus.

In an appreciation letter signed by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye SAN, the institution conveyed its deep appreciation to the Senator.

“On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and students of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences, I write to express our profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of a brand new ambulance vehicle to the Polytechnic,” Kalejaye stated.

He noted the timing and impact of the gesture: “Your kind gesture came at a most auspicious time when the Polytechnic was in dire need of such an essential facility to enhance the healthcare delivery and emergency response services within the campus community. The donation of this ambulance vehicle has therefore filled a critical need and will significantly strengthen the capacity of the Polytechnic Clinic to provide prompt medical attention and transportation during emergencies.”

The Governing Council also acknowledged Senator Yayi’s broader contributions to the institution and to Ogun State.

“We are particularly touched not only by this remarkable donation but also by your constant interventions and unwavering support to the institution, which have continued to demonstrate your commitment to educational advancement and community development. These noble gestures are deeply appreciated by all stakeholders of the Polytechnic.”

“We see it as a practical demonstration of your love for humanity and your dedication to the progress of educational institutions in Ogun State,” the letter added.

Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences, Ilese-Ijebu, trains students in nursing, public health, medical laboratory science, and other allied health courses. Stakeholders say the new ambulance will reduce response time during medical emergencies, facilitate student clinical postings, and serve surrounding communities in Ijebu North East LGA.

The intervention adds to Senator Adeola Yayi’s record of constituency projects focused on health, education, and infrastructure across the three Senatorial Districts in Ogun State.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as “Yayi”, currently represents Ogun West in the Senate. He is also the APC flagbearer for the 2027 Ogun State gubernatorial election. His constituency interventions have included classroom blocks, health centers, empowerment programmes, and medical equipment donations.
