Senator Adeola Yayi Mourns Senator Otegbola

The chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations and lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, has expressed shock and sadness at passing away of elder statesman and Third Republic Federal lawmaker, Senator Solomon Ayodeji Otegbola.

 

The demise of the chartered surveyor, who was the Asiwaju of Aworiland after a brief illness was announced his son, Mr. Wale Otegbola on 17th February, 2025.

 

In a condolence message to the family of the deceased, Senator Adeola described the late Asiwaju of Aworiland as a competent parliamentarian and real estate mogul who will be missed not only by his family, but the entire people of Ogun State and Nigeria.

 

“I recieved the new of the passage of Senator Otegbola with shock and sadness. He was a fearless politician and public servant that always put the interest of the people first in all political calculation. His contribution to the development of society in the areas of politics, economics and culture. The nation will miss his wise and fatherly at this time “ the statement read.

 

Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and the fortitude for members of his family and associates to bear the irreparable loss of a dearly beloved one.
