Senator Ekwunife Moves Road Construction To Obosi Urban

On Monday, December 14, 2020, the Anambra Central Zonal Project Monitoring committee visited Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State to inspect the ongoing construction of Echezona Street Road which runs through Igwe Nwakobi Road, Obosi Urban.

The project is one of the numerous road construction projects attracted by Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom).

Arriving the project site, the committee was received by some stakeholders, Obosi PDP Ward Executives and some residents of the area.

Speaking at the project site, the PDP Chairman Obosi Ward, Mr Chinedu Emodi noted that the road project confirms the importance of electing an individual who understands the demands of public office. He appreciated Senator Ekwunife for consistently rising up to the call of public service and lauded her for being a representative that puts the people first. Speaking further, Emodi said that Senator Ekwunife has shown she has what it takes to occupy a higher office. He prayed God to crown her efforts with success and give her the enablement to do more for her constituents.

Appreciating the people of Obosi for the support they gave the Senator in the last election, the Leader of the Project committee, Lady Henrietta Agbata described Obosi as a community that is not only rich in culture and tradition but a residence for many industrious men and women who do legitimate businesses in the State. He urged the people to always put Senate Ekwunife in their prayers, and assured them of the committee’s resolve to ensure that the project is executed to the standard and specification as awarded.

Other members of the committee present include Okeke Okwudili, PDP Secretary Obosi ward, Ebelechukwu Anikpe, PDP Youth Leader Obosi Ward, Osigwe Innocent, Chairman Awada Obosi, Moses Nwakpa, SUE Awada Obosi Ward Coordinator, Vivian Okoro, SUE Women Coordinator Awada Obosi Ward, Awoke Sampson, SUE Youth Coordinator Awada Obosi, Chukwudi Onyema, SUE Secretary Awada Obosi and the members of SUE works committee.
