Senator Ekwunife Salutes Chief Emeka Anyaoku At 88

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), has warmly felicitated with the Former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku as his turns 88, today, January 18, 2021.

Senator Ekwunife recognizes Chief Anyaoku for his brilliance and astuteness which saw him rise through the ranks to the enviable position ofCommonwealth Secretary-General.

Ekwunife extolled Anyaoku, who in spite of his international and national accomplishments, continues to fulfill his duties as the Ichie Adazie of Obosi Kingdom in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. 

The widely celebrated Federal Lawmaker, acknowledged the Obosi-born Octogenarian for the use of his excellent diplomatic skills to promote peaceful negotiations and dialogue in many commonwealth nations as well as the consistent deployment of his versatile skills and experience in useful national discourse.

Senator Ekwunife, on behalf of her family and the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District wished Chief Anyaoku whom she describes as a pride of Obosi Kingdom, Anambra Central Senatorial District and Anambra State, many more prosperous and impactful years on earth. She prays God to keep him in good health as he continues to deploy his experience, knowledge and wide diplomatic contacts in service to our nation, Nigeria.
