Senator Ekwunife Takes Solar Street Light Project To Aguluzigbo, Reassures Constituents Of More

The lawmaker representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), on Tuesday handed over a completed street light project to Aguluzigbo community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The Senator was represented by a delegation led by the former commissioner for women affairs, Lady Henrietta Agbata, who visited the project site to supervise the work done and handover necessary documents to the representatives of the community.

Welcoming the delegation, the President General of Aguluzigbo community, Hon Micheal Madueke, expressed delight on the project attracted to the community by the Senator. He noted that the Senator has always remembered the people of Aguluzigbo even in her past representations.

Enumerating some of the projects done in the past by the Senator, Hon Madueke stated that the road where some of the street lights are sited was constructed by Senator Ekwunife. He equally stated that he has been informed of a borehole project that is to commence somewhere in the community courtesy of Senator Ekwunife’s representation.

Madueke asked the delegation to extend his appreciations to the Senator on behalf of the people of Aguluzigbo who are beneficiaries of her quality representation. He stated that his people are convinced that the Senator will attract more dividends of democracy to the community.

Addressing the gathering, Lady Henrietta Agbata reiterated Senator Ekwunife’s commitment to offer quality representation to her constituents. She assured the people of Aguluzigbo that the Senator, in line with her determination towards addressing the yearning of Ndi Anambra Central will attract more projects to the community just as she is committed to meeting the needs of the other communities under her jurisdiction.

She further urged the people of the community to pray for God’s grace and protection upon the Senator.

The delegation also included, the PDP Chairman Anaocha LGA, Jude Onyeanwuna, Legislative Assistant to the Senator, Mrs Ifeyinwa Chinwuko; Head, Anambra Central Senatorial District Liaison Office, Chinonso Ofozoba amongst others.
