Senator John Owan Enoh Joins Celebration Of 10th International Day Of Yoga

Senator John Owan Enoh, the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, joined the High Commission of India, Abuja, led by Indian High Commissioner, G. Balasubramanian and the Ministry of Sports to celebrate the 10th International Day of Yoga.
This year’s theme, “Yoga for Self and Society,” highlights the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being. Yoga combines movement, breathing, and meditation to improve posture, flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness.
Senator John Owan Enoh emphasized the benefits of yoga, urging everyone to incorporate it into their routine. “Yoga is a valuable practice that brings numerous physical and mental health benefits. I encourage everyone to set aside time for yoga exercise and experience its transformative power.”
The event demonstrates the strong partnership between Nigeria and India in promoting sports and wellness. Senator John Owan Enoh reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote physical fitness and mental well-being, aligning with the Renewed Hope agenda.
