The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in Nigeria’s Upper Legislative Chamber, Senator Sikiru Adebayo Osinowo has described the late Senator Muniru Adekunle Muse as a loyal and dependable party man who was committed to the progressive ideals till his breathed his last early Tuesday.

Senator Osinowo stated this via a condolence message from his Media Office released on Tuesday.

“He was a hugely experienced man, full of wisdom and a man committed to the progressive ideals. Although he died at an advanced age of 80, we were not prepared for this because just two weeks ago, he was full of life celebrating his 80th birthday. But who are we to question Almighty Allah? He deemed it fit to take him away from us at this particular point in time,” the Senator said.

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries stated that Senator Muse would not only be missed by his immediate family members but all progressives particularly members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State and Nigeria at large.

“We will surely miss his wisdom and experience. His death, at this point in time, in spite of his age, is sad for us. But who are we to query Almighty Allah? I pray that al-Janat Firdaos is his final abode. I pray that Almighty Allah gives the family and the entire APC in Lagos State the fortitude to bear the huge loss,” he said.
