Showmax, Firewood Rice Excite Lagosians At Star-studded Jollof Fest

November 30, 2024, was a day for the books as Muri Okunola Park in Lagos morphed into a vibrant hub of flavours, culture, and entertainment at the Firewood Jollof Festival.

With Showmax and Firewood Rice Nigeria at the helm, over 5,000 foodies united to celebrate Nigeria’s culinary pride—firewood jollof rice.

Celebrity appearances elevated the festival’s magic. Hilda Baci charmed the audience, sharing her passion for Nigerian cuisine.

Meanwhile, Bisola Aiyeola brought her signature energy, and the crowd roared in excitement when Tomike Adeoye and Enioluwa Adeoluwa faced off in a lively dance battle on stage.

Other stars present were BBNaija season 9 winner Kayyrae and his wife and ex-BBNaija season 9 housemate Kassia, Ruth Akpan (Rhuttie), Dorathy Bachor, Toby Forge,  Ify’s Kitchen, Hero Daniels, Opeyemi Famakin, Segun Johnson and more.

Showmax took the event by storm and its booth was the event’s buzzing epicentre.
