Sir Aririguzo To Bury Mother On 26th February

The body of (Mrs.) Janet Nkemjika Aririguzo, the mother of Sir Cyril Aririguzo, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Newsedge Newspaper and opinion analyst, will be interred on Friday 26th February, 2021.

Sir Aririguzo disclosed this during the weekend while playing host to a delegation from concerned friends from the media, who were in Owerri, the State capital, to commiserate with him on the death of his mother.

The Imo Journalist turned politician said he was very delighted with the visit, urging them to actively participate in her funeral.

Sir Cyril Aririguzo, who described them as men of good will and very responsible colleagues, also added that his late mother was a role model, whose dedication to work, uprightness, boldness and honesty were the traits of a child of God. 

Late Mama Janet Aririguzo, also known as Nwanyi Mbaise, died at the age of 77 years and she was survived by many children and grand children. Her remains will be moved from the Federal Medical Centre hospital Owerri to her husband’s compound in Akalovo Emekuku, after which her burial mass will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Nkwo Emekuku. Interment follows immediately after the requiem mass.
