SLOT System Staff Loses N500k iPhones To Church Member

A 35-year old man, Bright Folusho has been arrested and charged before Magistrate’s court sitting in Isolo for obtaining under false pretense two iPhones worth over N500,000 from a staff of SLOT System Limited inside a church premises in Lagos.

Folusho committed the alleged crime inside the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Sanya Bus Stop, Ijesha area of Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the suspect went to one of the stores of the popular SLOT, informed them that his prophet needed the phones and asked them to sent their engineer who will operate and instruct him on how to use the phones before payment.
The management of the store sent and gave the phones to one of their staff, Uche Christopher to take it to the church’s prophet. On getting inside the church, Folusho met Christopher, reportedly collected the phones from him and pretended to be taking him to the prophet’s office.
He then entered one of the church’s offices, followed another exit and escaped.
Unsuspecting Christopher waited for several hours and when he made an enquiry from some members of the church around about Folusho, he was told there was no such person bearing the name among those working in the church.
The matter was reported to the police at Ijeshatedo division.

However Folusho was eventually arrested after Christopher identified him among the crowd in the church.

He was charged to court with the alleged criminal offence and he pleaded not guilty.
Folusho was granted bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 6 December 2016
