Soludo Emerges As Vice Chairman Of Southern Governors’ Forum

The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, has emerged the Vice Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum. 
The Southern Governors Forum is the umbrella body of all the 17 governors in South-West, South-South and South-East geo-political zones of Nigeria.

The meeting on Monday 24th June, 2024, was an intervention by the Governors to jointly brainstorm and address burning issues in the Southern part of Nigeria, as well as the entire country.

The meeting, which was held at the Presidential Lodge, GRA Ibara, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, lasted for about five hours. It had in attendance 13 Governors and three Deputy Governors from the Southern States at the end of which the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun emerged as the Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum while his Anambra State colleague, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, emerged as the Vice Chairman of the Forum.
