According to the Governor, after his wide consultation, it was discovered that the road is a major one for the people of the area.
“I promised during the campaign that I will build this road and I later discovered that the road passed through the late Dara Mbazulike Amaechi’s house.”
“By the way, Tuesday is a night of tributes in his honour at the International Convention Center Awka and on Thursday, Nigeria will be in Anambra and will ply this road.”
“You will recall that we are only 10 months in office. The insecurity was at the height of it when we assumed office, but it is abating.

“I believe that very soon the markings will be done on the road. Thank you for voting us. We won 16 out of 20 wards.
“We recruited 5000 teachers. We raised the salaries of civil servants by 10 percent and many more. We will still do more. We need people to work with. Support all APGA candidates to win”, the Governor added.
The Commissioner for Works, Engr Ifeanyi Okoma, noted that revalidation of the road project was approved by the Anambra State Executive Council on 26th November, 2022.
