At the Lagos and Abuja meetings, Soludo urged the people to invest in the state to boost economic activities and thereby enhance its growth, affirming that “Anambra is rising, and together we can build it to rise higher. All I see is what has not been done, and I promise the people of Anambra that I will do more.”

The governor, who was recently honoured with the Vanguard Newspaper Governor of the Year Award for good governance on 11th April 2025, also clinched The Sun Newspaper ‘Governor of the Year 2024’ for his laudable achievements, and the Independent Newspaper ‘Governor of the Year 2024’ Award for his urban renewal initiatives.
