Soludo Receives International Development Partners To Anambra

Representatives from some development partners operating in Nigeria have arrived Anambra State to search out ways to offer support to the state, in keeping with the present administration’s development agenda.

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, received them at the Anambra Airport, Umueri.


The United Nations team are expected to tour specific areas across the state, including slums in Onitsha and environs, to undertake on-the-spot study for necessary assistance.


Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor and his Deputy, Dr. Paschal Agbodike, Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, among other Anambra stakeholders were on ground to receive the delegation.

Recall that last week, as a prelude to this visit, the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator to Nigeria, Mr. Marthias Schmale, paid a familiarization visit to the state in company of some of his team members.
