I have always known that Soludo is a man focused on the Next Big Thing. He views governance as an opportunity to improve society, especially for future generations. He is not one to make excuses; instead, he remains committed to delivering good governance. His actions in the first thirty months of his tenure as governor demonstrate his urgency to get things done, unleashing his knowledge as a relentless thinker and doer. He crafts a pathway at every opportunity, laying a solid and sustainable foundation to achieve more and leave a lasting legacy.

Soludo has set his sights on developing a legal framework to firmly establish the Solution Innovation District (SID) as a sustainable legal entity for future generations. This groundbreaking announcement was made during the grand finale of the Anambra Innovation Week 2024—an event that marked the first of its kind since the state’s creation, where young innovators competed for a 100 million naira prize in the Battle for Solution talent hunt.

With the ongoing construction of Anambra’s iconic Silicon Valley and partnerships with the UNDP to build a Makers Space Innovation Hub in Awka, along with collaboration with renowned global tech companies, he is making history in Anambra, Nigeria, and Africa. He is quietly cultivating a vibrant tech community and nurturing a generation of experts who will lead the global tech revolution from our homeland. The Solution Innovation District (SID) has already become a magnet for young tech talents, startups, and innovators who are passionate about modern solutions and groundbreaking ideas.

The impact of SID has been remarkable: it has equipped over 70,000 individuals, teens, and young minds with essential tech skills through initiatives such as Teen Boot Camp, Code Anambra, and cybersecurity training. Guided by his philosophy of “Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere,” Soludo is strategically developing the innovation hub ecosystem, which will pave the way for his ambitious smart mega-city project.
