Soludo Visits Amorji Primary School, Attends Obiano’s Valedictory Session At The State House Of Assembly

Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, Anambra State Governor-elect in company of his wife, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, visited Amorji Primary School in Isuofia yesterday, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 to cheer up the pupils.   

Soludo and his wife on arrival at the school, were received by the headmistress, Mrs Angela Onuegbu in company of other teachers.  

Miss Jenifer Moses, a primary five pupil who spoke on behalf of the pupils, welcomed the Governor-elect and his wife to the school. She expressed the pupils’ eternal gratitude to Soludo who has been taking care of their fees including the provision of School uniforms and learning tools free of charge to the pupils for the past years.

 Master Ebere Emeka, a primary 6 pupils, who offered prayers on behalf of his fellow students, prayed that God continues to bless the Governor-elect and his family for his uncommon support and unequalled interest in education.  

Soludo, in his speech, encouraged the pupils to remain focused always by taking their studies very seriously. He counselled them that good education provides the building blocks to being successful in life. He re-assured them that his administration will ensure a high standard and qualitative education for every child in Anambra State. Mrs Nonye Soludo also advised the pupils to study hard and be focused.  

Mrs Angela Onuegba, on behalf of the school management, expressed gratitude to Soludo and his wife for coming to cheer up the children as well as offer words of advice to them. 

Meanwhile, Soludo on the same day also attended the State House of Assembly Valedictory session held in honour of the outgoing Governor, Chief Willie Obiano.  The outgoing Governor received massive encomiums from the members for his outstanding achievements as Governor of Anambra state for the past 8 years 

 Governor Obiano, in appreciation, thanked the House for the encomiums poured on him by some of the House members. He charged them to take his message of gratitude to their various constituencies and also extend the cordial relationship which the House accorded him to the incoming Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, who will be formally sworn in, on Thursday, March 17, 2022 as the sixth democratically elected governor of Anambra State. 

In a related development, the outgoing Governor, Willie Obiano, on the same day took the incoming Governor, Cee Cee Soludo, on a familiarization tour of both the Governor’s Office and official lodge in preparation to the official handing over ceremony billed for March 17, 2022
