The wife of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nonye Soludo, was at the weekend honoured with a Chieftaincy title in Isuofia.

The honour was bestowed on her as the Isuofia community celebrated this year’s Iri Ji Isuofia, the New Yam Festival.

During the festival, the Traditional Ruler, HRH Igwe Col. C.A.O Muoghalu (Rtd.), also honoured distinguished individuals, who have made significant contributions to the community’s development.

Gov Soludo’s wife was recognized for her remarkable efforts and conferred with the Chieftaincy title “Mmili Gulu-Egu na Isuofia”.

It is expected that this well-deserved recognition will surely inspire her to continue her selfless service to the Isuofia community, Anambra State and the society at large.
