National President Standup for Women Society (SWS), Barrister Deborah Abosede Ijadele-Adetona ESQ, said the Society is joining the efforts of the United Nations family to focus on recovering the peaceful co-existence of a more equitable and peaceful world.

SWS admonishes everyone to celebrate peace by standing up against acts of hate online and offline, and by spreading compassion, kindness, and hope in the face of the pandemic for sustainable peaceful co-existence.

It’s also on this note, SWS is calling all relevant stakeholders and warring parties to unite and embrace peace especially in the phase of the recent pandemic and economic crisis to see who is most vulnerable among the society that is women, children and people with disabilities are most affected. We need to give peace a chance.
