SYF Commends Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers For Commitment To National Development

The Southern Youth Foundation, SYF, has highly commended the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council for their unrelenting commitment to national development and stability.
The SYF made the commendation on Tuesday 28th April, 2026, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, through its National President, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, following the meeting of the respected monarchs in the Rivers State capital last Thursday.
Amb. Ibe praised the monarchs for emphasizing the critical importance of unity, inclusivity, and collaboration in driving both regional progress and national development, which are part of the goals of the SYF.
He said, “SYF believes strongly in both regional and national development. We therefore, commend the Chairman of the Council, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, for championing the programmes geared towards achieving unity and development in Southern Nigeria and the country at large”.
“We call on the Governors of Southern Nigeria to focus on policies directed at economic emancipation and national stability. Through our programmes and activities, the SYF will continue to promote unity across the region, and contribute meaningfully to the overall development and progress of Nigeria.”
