The Police in Ogun State have arrested a 33-year old teacher, Akinsoku Love Olomi, who resides at No.10 Baba Esther Area of Iyesi-Ota in Ado-Odo Local Government Area for defiling two under aged girls (names withheld).

P.M.EXPRESS reports that this was disclosed by the PPRO, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, on behalf of Ogun State Commissioner of Police.
The teacher was arrested on 4th January, 2019, following a complaint by the mother of one of the victims, one Jenifer Mustapha, who reported at Onipanu Division that the suspect who lives in the same house with them and a teacher in a nearby private school saw her daughter and her friend who are six and seven years old respectively playing at the premises of the school and called them into one of the school’s classrooms.
He subsequently gave one of them money to go and buy biscuit but before the arrival of that one, he had carnal knowledge of the other girl with him. He then sent the one he had already defiled to go and buy another biscuit and he used that opportunity to defile the second one as well. On getting home, the mother of one the victims noticed the change in her daughter’s countenance which made her to question the girl. Upon the questioning, she revealed that it was Uncle Love as he is fondly called that tampered with her private part.
Based on the report, the DPO Onipanu Division, SP Soganbiyi Johnson, led his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested. During interrogation, he admitted having carnal knowledge of one of the girls, but claimed that he only fingered the second one. The two victims have been taken to the hospital for medical examination.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for proper Investigation and prosecution.
