A man, Mr. Joseph Sunday, who was arrested for allegedly sleeping with his daughters aged 9 and 13 for three years, has told the Police that he was just testing the potency of his manhood.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Obot Ideng, Ibesikpo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Police operatives from the Akwa Ibom State Police Command arrested the suspect, Mr. Sunday, after the dastardly act was exposed and he claimed that he was testing the potency of his alleged failing manhood.
It was gathered that Mr. Sunday, in his late forties, had been having immoral affairs with his young daughters for over three years in his house in Ibesikpo since he divorced the mother of the girls, who had relocated to Rivers State.
To gag his daughters from divulging the orgy to outsiders, the suspect threatened to kill them with charm called “Mbiam” in the local parlance, if they ever spilled the beans.
But the incestuous affair was blown open when the suspect caught his 13-year old daughter with another man, who identified himself as the girl’s boyfriend, and he became furious. He beat up the daughter, who in anger decided to expose their illicit affair.
Meanwhile, the 9-year-old, who was also a victim, confessed that she was already in love with her father and had enjoyed the act.
In his confessional statement, the suspect, who admitted turning his daughters into sex slaves, claimed that he wanted to test if his manhood was still functioning well.
“My wife left me some years ago because of some family issues and relocated to Rivers State. I have been the only one taking care of my daughters. I just wanted to test if my manhood is still functional using my daughters” he said.
Police source said that the suspect will be charged before the Court for defilement after the conclusion of investigations.
The alleged offence, defilement, especially of minors, attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.
