Tolanibaj, Wathoni, BrightO Out Of Big Brother House During First Triple Eviction

Posted on August 31, 2020

In what could be described as the first treble eviction, Sunday’s live eviction show saw three housemates, Tolani Baj, Wathoni and Brighto, leave the Big Brother Naija Lockdown house.

The trio exits were unexpected as many did not see Brighto, one of this season’s favourite housemates, leave the show.

In a very surprising twist on this week’s live eviction show, Big Brother switched up the eviction process, going straight to evictions without giving the housemates a chance to choose who they want to send home from the bottom four as was done in previous weeks.

Biggie introduced the shocking twist when the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, revealed that all the housemates Tolani Baj, Triky Tee, Kiddwaya, BrightO, Prince, Erica, Lucy, Neo, Wathoni, Dorothy, Vee, and Laycon were up for possible eviction.

Whilst they were waiting to get called into the Diary Room to nominate those who would go home, Ebuka announced that the public votes will determine the fate of the housemates.

According to him, Tolani Baj, Wathoni and BrightO, fell into the bottom three and they evicted accordingly.

The show’s host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Tolanibaj as the seventh housemate to be evicted from the BBNaija Lockdown House and shortly after that Wathoni’s eviction followed.

Just when the housemates and viewers thought Biggie was done for the night, Ebuka came back and announced Brighto’s eviction.

Speaking to Ebuka on stage after her eviction, Tolanibaj said she feels she is supposed to still be in the house but, with everything she gave while in the house she feels like the future is very bright for her. Tolanibaj went on to say that she knows she will definitely be missed at the Saturday night parties.

On her plans after the house, Tolanibaj, the budding entrepreneur says she plans to explore a lot of the opportunities that she knows will come her way as a result of her participation in the show. “I also intend to set up an office for my business 234NextGen and hire more hands, as well as continue growing my YouTube channel,” she added.

Wathoni on the other hand, says she’d continue with her fashion ventures and maybe start a baby TV show.

On Brighto’s part, the Marine Engineer will focus on getting certifications to further his engineering career but will also keep his options open in entertainment.

Ebuka closed the live show by announcing that starting at 5PM on Monday, the housemates will be called into the diary room to nominate two housemates for possible eviction. Safe to say that it is game on!

Big Brother Naija season 5 airs 24/7 on DStv channel 198 (197 IS20) and GOtv Max and Jolli (Plus) on channel 29.
