Top Female Pastor Duped At Popular Supermarket

A top female pastor, Rev. Mrs. Angela Ani is now counting her loses after she focused more on her church work and entrusted her business to her staff who then conspired and defrauded of millions of Naira in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the alleged fraud by her staff took place at the branch of the company, God’s Favour Super market located at Femi Kila Street in Ago, Okota area of Lagos.
It was gathered that Mrs. Ani who was a minister of in a church, established the supermarket but seemed to have given it lesser attention due to her work in the church.
However, her attitude turned to be a sort of blessing to her staff who exploited the opportunity to loot the place. It was gathered that some of the staff including the security men conspired and stole both cash and products and shared the money.
By the time Mrs. Ani realised what had happened, millions of Naira had been carted away from the supermarket, some staff resigned and went away with their loot.
The looting was reported to the police at Okota Division, who carried out investigations which led to the arrest of three members of the staff of the company. The workers were Umoh Buffy, Olebu Charles and the security man, Chibuisi Okorie. They were arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates court for conspiracy and stealing.
They all pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mrs. Rita Momah did not oppose their bail but asked the court to give a short adjournment for the trial in the interest of justice.
Thus, the presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenje granted the suspects bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 9 May, 2018.
