The Honourable Commissioner for Transport in Anambra State, Sir Charles Uchenna Okafor, on Wednesday in his office at Jerome Udorji Secretariat, Awka, launched hand-held traffic signpost for controlling of traffic in the state.

While unveiling the new innovation, Mr. Okafor appreciated the efforts of the ATMA officers, the Traffic Police, Willie Work Force, FRSC and others in the management of traffic across the state.

The transport boss directed that henceforth, all the ATMA officers posted to junctions and medium/heavy traffic flashpoints must have the signposts with them for easy management of traffic.

The hand-held reflective signpost has two faces; the “Go”/”Stop” sides and are on green and red backgrounds respectively.

Others present included Chief Pat. Obiefuna (MD/CEO, ATMA), Hon. Raph Okoye (SSA/Head, VIO) and others.
