U-13 JOF Kids Cup: 16 Teams Scale 1st Round Hurdles, As 2nd Round Begins Thursday

Sixteen teams made their ways to the second round of the ongoing second/U-13 JOF Kids Cup Championship 2021 in Lagos.


The school sports grassroots football championship, which kicked off on 26 February produced superlative performance from the participating kids as they were delights to watch throughout the first round proceedings.


At the end of the first round matches, which ended last weekend, 16 teams crashed out, while another 16 lucky ones made it to the second round which organisers said will begin on Thursday.


The second round teams include AZ Zola Babes of Ijegun, Abu Babes of Ibeju Lekki, Yinka Babes of Badagry, Rock Star of Ojodu, Royal Babes of Iwaya, Orelope Boys of Ajah, and Jnr. Arsenal of Alimosho.
 Others are Ayo Babes of Ajeromi, Alausa Bombers of Ikeja, Young Stars of Lagos Island, Warrior Boys of Agege, Bonje Babes of Ojodu, Edebo United of Obanikoro, Prince Boys of Lekki and Emeka United of Amuwo Odofin.

Meanwhile, the draws for the second round of the U-13 JOF Kids Cup holds on Wednesday in Lagos.


The grassroots soccer championship is proudly sponsored and supported by JOF Nigeria Limited, a manufacturing company, and also a supply chain services provider to multinational companies operating within the Foods & Beverage industry in Nigeria with subsidiaries in properties and investments portfolios.
