Uche Ogah’s Investment In Humanity: A Case Study
PETER AGBA KALU

Now that politics is over, it’s about time we shared the truth about certain individuals and political meaning will not be read into it.
There are few individuals in human history that God sent to alter the cause of history positively and they do it in such a way that you will know that the grace of God is their staying strength.
You have heard of wealthy people building hotels, universities, industries, and infrastructures, but Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah known by the acronym USO built a community. Let me download it.
You see, a lot has been written about Ogah on how he built one of the biggest individual industrial estates in West Africa. While appreciating this, l think that Ogah’s greatest investment is not about his business investments, but his investment in human resourcefulness.
Ogah’s greatest investment is his investment in people. He is one person who doesn’t just want to be the only shining light in his community, among his friends, and across his business circle. Outside investing in educational empowerment he has opened the doors and given a lot of people the opportunity to become multi-million business tycoons. Uche Ogah has produced over 100 multiple times millionaires.
Before the emergency of Ogah, his community, Onuaku, was not too well known. If on a journey you decided to stop around there, other passengers will wonder what you are going into such a thick forest to do. Upon the emergence of Ogah, road networks began to spring forth, and modern buildings too as Onuaku indeed started living true to their source of wealth. Business tycoons started springing forth from the community’s dynamic youth all because Ogah decided that his charity would start from home.
He did not just stop there, from Town halls to modern places of worship down to street lights the once-unknown community became a tourist site.
So, while other multiple-time billionaires were busy building and expanding their business estates, Ogah was busy building human estate.
Today, courtesy of the Ogah dynasty that community has produced a Federal Minister and a member of the Federal House of Reps. This is outside state commissioners, doctors, engineers, etc.
Ogah has shown us that the greatest wealthy people are not just those who increased their business estates here and there, but the ones who invested in uplifting others.
This is the quality true Igbo great men of old are known for, their real wealth were valued based on how many other millionaires they helped produced.
