Today, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba, an Abia-born prominent businessman and politician, offered a clear and honest view on the leadership of Governor Alex Chioma Otti and the road to 2027. According to him, when a team is performing well, it should be allowed to continue its work without disruption.

His position is based on what many can already see. In less than three years, Governor Otti has demonstrated strong leadership, careful planning, and a clear sense of direction. His style of governance is organised, reform-focused, and driven by results. This has, no doubt, helped rebuild public trust and restore confidence in government.
Without any doubt, the performance of Otti’s administration has been widely described as unprecedented. Across key sectors, there are visible development projects, practical policies, and programmes that directly impact the daily lives of the people. Roads are being constructed and reconstructed, systems are being improved, and governance is becoming more responsive.
Ochiagha Ufomba also highlights the governor’s preparedness. From the outset, Governor Otti approached leadership with a clear plan and a disciplined method. His decisions reflect careful thinking, while his actions demonstrate a strong commitment to long-term development alongside short-term gains.
For Ochiagha Ufomba, the message is not about politics alone; it is about progress. He believes that the gains already made should not be interrupted but rather strengthened and expanded through continuity.
In summary, Ochiagha Ufomba’s message reflects the need to support a leadership that is working, in order to protect the progress already made and allow ongoing reforms to fully take root. For Abia State, continuity under a performing team remains the surest path to lasting development.
