Victor Alyanyi is psychologically mature, talented beyond his years – Ohemeng, Rogers
Tranmere Rovers teenage sensation, Victor Efosa Alyanyi, has continued to attract encomium over his incredible display of talent.
Alyanyi, 16, has been described as one of the most talented footballers of this generation and marked for stardom in few years time. He is so good that the quality and maturity of his game has been hailed as elite-like and style compared to that of Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong.
This time, Kwaku Ohemeng, founder of ‘Seedorf Football Academy’, was enthusiastic about the future that awaits the young lad.
“Victor is a very good player with lots of potential and he will surely go far in the sport. I can pur my faith in him that he will make it,” said, Kwaku Ohemeng, fondly known as Seedorf.
More so, David Ian Rogers, a youth coach, praised Victor Alyanyi’s attack-minded performances game after game, despite being a defender and why he is miles ahead of his contemporaries.
“Victor is a fullback that consistently shows up and constantly attacks,he plays just like Frimpong and its no shock hes doing well,” he stated.
Rogers further examined other parts of Alyanyi’s game and social interaction with his teammates.
“Psychologically mature beyond his years, responsible, articulate, great communicator, good attitude, intrinsically motivated, asks questions for clarification, wants to learn, coachable, loves playing the game for the joy it brings him. Good person.
“Technically-good first touch, chooses the right surface of the body when controlling the ball, shields the ball well, comfortable on the ball, great spatial awareness, good passer long and short, crossing needed practice.
“Tactically-anticipates danger, reads the game well, recognises when to cover team mates who are out of position, understands FB role in most systems, knows the defending and attacking principles, knows when to join the attack, overlap, underlap, likes to play inverted to dominate possession to create overloads in midfield and in wide areas.
“Social-good socialiser, encourages others, positive influence on the group, loved by his team mates, captain material respected by his team mates. Physical , strong in the tackle, great stamina, good pace, was about 5′ 8 height, great work ethic”, added Rogers.
Recently, Blackburn Rovers scout, Steve Hayes, was also left startled by Alyanyi immense talent.
“African talent often goes unrecognised, however, they are the next big thing in the sport industry. The Nigerian national team is proof of this, with stars such as Ola Aina, Alexander Iwobi, and Calvin Bassey demonstrating high standards and levels in the senior game.
“Simultaneously, at the youth U18 level, players like Victor are showcasing the exceptional character and on-field prowess that distinguishes Nigerian talent. Talent in Africa is the next big thing, and we need to invest in it, particularly in Nigeria”, he added.
