The National Chairman of the Father Abraham Movement, Chief Dr. Ovoke Idogun, has called on all stakeholders in the Warri Federal Constituency to sheath their swords and embrace peace and dialogue in resolving ongoing differences.

Idogun made the appeal during a peace meeting convened by the Movement in Warri, which brought together youth leaders from the Itsekiri, Ijaw, and Urhobo ethnic nationalities.

Speaking against the backdrop of tensions linked to INEC delineation issues in the constituency, Chief Idogun urged the three groups to prioritize unity and mutual understanding over conflict.

The well-attended meeting saw speakers from the three ethnic groups pledge to maintain peace, especially in light of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s personal intervention in the matter.

Chief Idogun thanked participants for honoring the invitation and assured them that “better days are ahead for Warri.”

He also used the opportunity to rally support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that “with the re-election of President Tinubu, Warri Federal Constituency will enjoy greater dividends of development.”
