Disclosing this during a monitoring visit to some of the water projects he facilitated in the 2020 Budget at Agege and Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Areas over the weekend, the Chairman of Senate Committee on Finance stated that so far 6 Solar Power Boreholes have been completed, commissioned and in use by constituents and residents in 6 LGAs out of ten LGAs of his largest Senatorial District in Nigeria.

“During the campaign for votes in 2019, an NGO, WaterAid visited my Senatorial District Office at Ikeja and I made a pledge to support policies and actions that will make water available to Nigerians in my District and at the National level. These multi million Naira water projects are in fulfillment of my promises to my constituents and the NGO. They are also coincidentally in line with one of the COVID-19 precautionary safety measures” he stated during the visit.
