We Gladly Welcome The Newly Appointed NDDC Board – Comrade Emeni Ibe

The Founder, Coalition of Niger Youth Leaders and President General Orashi National Congress, Most Senior Comrade Emeni Ibe, has expressed his gladness about the appointment and inauguration of the new NDDC Board while promising the cooperation of Niger Delta youths.
Comrade Emeni, who is the Executive Director, Union of Niger Delta Contractors and equally the National President of Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt, said, “It is no longer news that there were thick grand plots in many quarters to frustrate the screening and inauguration of the newly appointed NDDC Board and their subsequent Inauguration. I join the good of Niger Delta to welcome the new Board”.
“What we have today as the Niger Delta Development Board (NDDC) like other successive interventionist agencies is the direct sweat and sacrifices of Niger Delta people. Many sons and daughters of our region died during the struggle for the establishment of the NDDC by the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo administration.”
“Unfortunately, since the establishment of the NDDC and the inception of this adminstration no board has served successfully, except in acting capacity.”
“There was always grand conspiracies against the inauguration of the board whenever it is constituted. The evil forces often ensure that they cause crisis to disorganise and destabilize the system that always lead to appointments of Acting Managing Directors with limited powers.”
“It is sad that same internal and external collaborators and conspiracies have teamed up with the enemies of the Niger Delta Region again to fight against the Inauguration of the new Board but they failed. I gladly welcome the new board and declare the total support of the people of the Niger Delta especially our youths. “
“I therefore, join other patriotic sons and daughters of the Niger Delta Region to welcome the new Board of NDDC. We have waited for too long, and welcome the Board of NDDC with sure promise of cooperation and collaboration for the good of our people” Comrade Emeni Ibe said.
