The Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), said that the younger generation will miss the mentorship of the former Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, who died on Thursday.

Making his comments on the floor of the House during plenary, Hon. Kasunmu said that the former Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, scored Grade ‘A’ in mentorship and was very visionary.

“Baba scored ‘A’ in mentorship. He is visionary. We thank the Lord that the younger generations are able to see the infrastructural development done by the late Ex-Governor.”

“Baba was a man filled with uncomon wisdom, he was also an outstanding role model who scored very high in the mentorship of the younger generations. I know these first hand because he was very close to my family, particularly my maternal grandmother, the late Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji.”

“I wish we give a standing ovation for the departed soul.” Hon. Kasunmu said.
