The Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has expressed shock and sadness over the death of the Baale of Agidingbi, High Chief Ganiyu Haruna, who answered the final call yesterday.

In a condolence message signed by the Lawmaker,. Hon. Kasunmu said,
“I received the news of the death of our beloved Baale of Agidingbi, High Chief Ganiyu Haruna, yesterday with utmost shock and sadness. And, it is still difficult for me to come to terms with the fact that our amiable father has gone to be with the Ancestors”.

“Baale was not just a royal father in our constituency, he was actually my Uncle from the Mogaji family. When we had the maiden edition of Abibatu Mogaji Ramadan Lecture on Monday 17th April, I looked forward to seeing him but this was not to be.”

“We have lost an uncommon Royal father who was always seeking the peace, security and development of his community and the society at large.
He was a man with a large heart and always ready to forgive and let go. He was also a lover and groomer of the youth.”

“I seize this opportunity to express my heartfelt condolences to the Haruna royal house, the palace chiefs, daughters, sons and residents of Agidingbi community as well as all stakeholders.”

“Our hearts are with you at this moment of grief. May Allah forgive his sins, grant him Aljouna Fridaous and strengthen the family and community.
Fare Thee Well!” Hon. Kasunmu stated.

The deceased Baale is one of the prominent royal fathers in Ikeja Constituency 2. During his reign, he attracted a lot of development, business organizations and Government’s presence to his community. He will surely be missed by all.
