Posted on October 21, 2022

The respected legislator representing Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Hon Vincent Ifemenam Ekene Ofumelu, has hinted about the serious efforts that had been made to improve the quality of education in his Constituency.
Hon Ofumelu made the disclosure while reeling out his achievements in the Education Sector.
He said, “Education is one major contributing factor to development. It holds the key to the successful development of people and the environment”.
“For these reasons, we have continued to knock on every door to see what projects and infrastructure we can put in place to help our Government and mission-owned schools educate and develop young people.”
“Aside from facilitating classroom blocks to various secondary schools in Oyi and Ayamelum, we ensured that the classroom blocks were well-equipped and that the students had adequate and modern learning materials, which has further encouraged more children in our Federal constituency to seek Basic Education.”
“We will continue to attract infrastructure and other intangibles to support and sustain education in our Federal Constituency.”
“So far, I’ve facilitated classroom blocks for eleven (11) schools over the past three (3) years in roughly ten (10) community secondary and primary schools in Oyi and Ayamelum, and I’m still enthusiastic to do more” Hon. (Barr.) Vincent Ofumelu said.
