What To Watch This Valentine On GOtv

The month of February is largely about the 14th day, which is just a week away. The choice of gifts and message cards will certainly be top of mind for lovers this weekend.  While you deliberate on the special gift for that special person, enjoying some interesting love stories won’t be out of place.  

GOtv, the home of family entertainment, has lined up movies and new series that would get you in the mood for Valentine.  And you might also get a very good gift idea or key words for your message from the love storylines. Here are some local and foreign picks to look out for:

International Love Series

As part of GOtv special Valentine treat, a brand-new series, ‘Closer to My Heart’, is now showing on Star Life (GOtv Channel 23). The love-hate storyline airs daily at 6:30pm. In addition, a new love series titled ‘How Do I Say This’, will premiere on Zee World (GOtv Channel 25) on February 9. This is a story of two lovers who navigate obstacles to keep their relationship intact. The series will be showing daily at 10pm.

You can also follow the daily activities of several nurses to see how they balance profession with love life, in season three of ‘Nurses’, premiering on Telemundo (GOtv Channel 14), on February 13, at 8pm.

Indigenous Love movies

A week-long Valentine vibe has also been programmed with indigenous love storylines across ROK channels on GOtv. The special treat starts February 8, with ‘Love Me Blind’, featuring Ik Ogbonna and Bryan Cross Emmanuel, on ROK (GOtv channel 7), at 8pm. Next in line is the story of two content creators who need to take a hard decision on their love life in the movie titled ‘To Love, To Forget’, airing February 9, at 8pm.

You can also tune in to watch how little things can be crucial to relationship success in the movie titled Love Language’, showing February 10, at 8pm. On February 11,  another love story themed A Love Like This’ will be airing at 8:40pm, while Eva’s Love Story’ is scheduled for February 12, at 8:40pm. Also available on ROK 2 (GOtv Channel 17) are two love dramas: ‘Love In A Valley’, showing February 11,  at 6:30pm and ‘Love Eternal’ on February 12, at 6:30pm.
