A jealous man, Taiwo Agbaje, who allegedly killed his younger brother’s two children and cut off their dick in Ogun State, has confessed that he did so because their father was richer than him in the family.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives from the Ogun State Command have arrested Agbaje over the alleged murder of the victims. He confessed to the crime but denied that he killed them for ritual purposes.
The incident happened at Abeokuta town, where the suspect took the victims inside the bush and murdered them in a dastardly manner.
In a video making the rounds on social media, the suspect, Agbaje, who spoke in Yoruba language, said he went to his brother’s house and whisked the two children to the bush.
According to him, the children aged 9 and 7 began to cry when he started to hit them with a weapon. But their cries for mercy fell on deaf ears as he continued to hit them with the weapon until they died in the process. He thereafter proceeded to cut off their dick.
During interrogation, the suspect claimed that he killed the children because their father, who is his brother, makes more money than him. He denied allegations that he intended to use them for money rituals. He also stated that the parents of the two children did not offend him before carrying out the dastardly act.
The suspect and his brother are Okada riders operating in Abeokuta but was not happy his brother was making more money than himself and he decided to kill his children.
However,  the information leaked and he was arrested and detained at the Command’s headquarters, where he made confessional statements over what happened.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Command, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect was in Police custody undergoing interrogation over his alleged conduct.
She stated that the suspect will be charged before the Court for the alleged murder under the Criminal Laws of the State but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
