Nigeria’s award-winning music superstar, Wizkid, on Wednesday night accompanied international supermodel, Naomi Campbell, to the 2018 GQ Men of the Year Awards.
Naomi made sure she remained in the spotlight as she arrived fashionably late to the star-studded 21st annual GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2018 in association with luxury lifestyle group HUGO BOSS at the Tate Modern, London, United Kingdom, walking hand in hand with youthful Wizkid dressed in a blue tuxedo.
GQ is an international monthly men’s magazine based in New York City that focuses on fashion, style, and culture for men.
The GQ Men of the Year Awards 2018, now in its 21st year, celebrates men who shape the world’s cultural landscape over style, politics, entertainment and sport.
The British supermodel nearly spilled out of her evening gown as she made a bold fashion statement in a funky patterned corset dress. Naomi, who rocked curled raven tresses with a stylish fringe, accessorised her entire look with a collection of rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and a black silk choker.
As expected, there have been speculations and reactions hinting that the duo may just be dating. Naomi is 48, while Wizkid is just 28.
Naomi is known to be a big fan of the Afro-pop singer as she was present during Wizkid’s Afro Republik concert in London. She and Wizkid recently walked the runway for international fashion brand Dolce and Gabbana.
Earlier while in Lagos, Nigeria, Naomi equally used her time well hanging out with Wizkid, Davido and Ycee after her brief meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari during his visit to Eko Atlantic.
However, there had been rumours about Naomi dating British-Nigerian musician Skepta, a dude 15 years younger than the fashion icon.
However, Naomi appeared to confirm the rumour via an Instagram post in June when she shared a GQ cover featuring her and Skepta cuddled close while wearing nothing but jewelry.
Skepta is the first man Naomi has been linked with since Egyptian millionaire Louis C. Camilleri in July 2017.
