Woman, 37, Slices Boy, 7, With Razor Blade

A 37-year old woman, Ajoke Adebayo, has arrested in Lagos for inflicting serious injury on a 7-year old boy with a razor blade for inserting finger into the younger sister’s private part.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Imojo Street, Bible Pattern junction in Obawole, Ifako Ijaye area of Lagos where they reside.
The angry Ajoke was said to have caught the boy when he inserted his finger into his younger sister’s private part. She reportedly flogged him and then used the razor blade to inflict cuts on several parts of his body for indulging in such conduct at his age. The boy was said to have bled profusely and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The matter was reported to the Police; Ajoke was then arrested and detained over the assault. The case was later transferred to Area G Command in Ogba where Ajoke told the police why she did so.
However, the police found her culpable and charged her before the Ogba Magistrates Court for assault on the victim.
She pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector Benson Emerhi, did not oppose her being granted bail but asked the court for a date for hearing.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.SuleAmzat, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 6th June, 2019.
